Join us in Badshot Lea Gardent Centre to support our fundraising event on Friday 8th June to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Staff at the centre will be riding the distance between all Squires 14 Garden Centre in a bid to raise awareness and money for the charity. Using stationary exercise bikes and working on rotation, the Squires staff are aiming to cover 300 miles over an 11 hour period.
The restaurant will also be joining in the fundraising by selling cupcakes on the day, with all profits going to the charity.
Fundraising begins on the evening before the bike ride on the 7thJune with members of staff invited to a Zumba dance class in return for donations to the charity.

We will be celebrating summer with a stunning exhibition of top quality roses and home made quilts on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June. The early summer rose show is organised by the prestigious Royal National Rose Society and attracts top rose growers from all over the country who are aiming to win points that contribute to the overall annual championships in our Garden Center. We have hosted this hugely popular event for over 30 years and it has now become one of the Societys biggest shows.
Alongside this stunning rose show, the Surrey, Sussex and Kent region of the Quilters Guild will be displaying some beautiful handmade quilt including a huge variety of designs and techniques with quilt-makers on hand to talk about quilting and its history.
We have teamed up with Surrey Wildlife to deliver a fascinating talk on how to encourage wildlife into your garden. Each session will cover a range of topics including;
How to prepare for wildlife inall garden sizes.
Common garden visitors and how to attract them.
Best plants to plant and what to avoid.
Protected species and how to help them.
There will even be a practical demonstration to see how you can make your very own ladybird or bee home for the garden.
The sessions cost just 3.50 per person and free filter coffee or tea to enjoy in our Seasons Restaurant. Tickets now available from Woking and Twickenhams Information desk.
World War II Bomber Command veterans will be joining us at Washington on Saturday 7 July from 1pm to 3pm.
They will be signing cards, photographs and memorabilia and will be of course sharing some of their memories with us.
Join our in-house plant expert James at Stanmore for a Summer Hanging Basket workshop on the 24th August at 10am or 2pm.
Each workshop costs just 9.99 per person and includes all tuition, equipment and material necessary to make a blooming hanging basket to take home. You will also receive a voucher for a free tea or coffee and slice of home made cake to enjoy in our caf following the workshop.
