Whether you are touring or travelling frequently purely on a holiday or work related basis. Amidst the noise and commotion if there is one thing that people crave during these times it is to attain peace of mind and the key to achieving that goal is with the Sennheiser PXC 450 headphone

The Sennheiser PXC 450 headphone is unlike anything you have seen. It is simply not enough or practical to purchase purely on impulse any given headwear and expect comfort and luxury. One attains that through trial & error and recommendations from people.

After having tried and tested a few reputed headphones many have been good but if there is one particular headphone from I achieved complete satisfaction is has to be the Sennheiser PXC 450 without a doubt.

The Sennheiser sensibly relies on a combination of noise blocking and noise cancelling to achieve good results.

After removing the PXC 450 from its packaging, the first thing I noticed was the unprecedented build quality. Everything from the thick metal headband to the plush ear and head pads seemed to be built for extreme durability and comfort.

An extremely comfortable headpiece which for many would be a little too comfortable it is very easy on the ears.

There are some unique characteristics to this headphone, there are a few additional buttons and controls that should be mentioned. The NoiseGard feature requires power in order to function, so one AAA battery (two are included) needs to be inserted into a battery compartment housed in the right earphone.

There is also a switch on the left earphone that interchanges between "normal" mode, which enables NoiseGard, and "bypass" mode, which disables it for use without battery power.

The rest of the functions are all controlled from a circular ring of buttons on the right earphone, including the "on/off" button, volume control, and the TalkThrough toggle button.

Pros

Outstanding Sound and Noise Cancellation quality

Detachable audio cable Long 1.4 meter cable length

Talk through feature allowing you to hear someone/take part in a conversation without taking off your headphones.

High-end travel headphone set with NoiseGard 2.0 technology and TalkThrough function for the best possible attenuation of ambient noise.

Excellent sound quality through patented adaptive baffle damping and duofol diaphragm system

Ideal for travelling: comfortable, has folding design with one-sided cable connection

Perfectly suited for use in inflight entertainment systems as well as mobile music sources

Headphones can also be used without cable to dampen noise

Cons

Large size (if that is a hindrance to some users many would not even consider this a con)

Overall this is an outstanding piece which I have been a proud owner of.
