The school summer holidays are just on the horizon now, so anyone with children will now to thinking about where they would like to go for the summer. There are all kinds of locations available, but if you want to save money on your break you might be finding yourself downsizing your plans to stay within the UK this year.

This doesnt mean that you cant have an absolutely amazing break though, since you can find all kinds of fantastic places to stay within the UK. You could stay in one of the countrys incredible cities, such as London or Edinburgh, or you could experience the countryside by holidaying in one of our national parks. However, if you want to make sure you really make the most of your summer holiday you should consider a break by the seaside.

All children enjoy the seaside and there will be things for adults to enjoy as well. For instance, you could set the kids to building sandcastles while you go for a spot of sunbathing, or you could all play some beach games together if the beach rules allow. You will also be able to go for walks along to coast to experience the incredible sea views that will be available, and there should be a number of coastal walks that are family or even buggy friendly, so the whole family will be able to enjoy a great day out while on holiday.

There should also be a good few attractions that you can all visit during your break no matter where you are staying. You could visit the local museum to learn about the towns history, or could go shopping in the town centre to pick up some souvenirs of your holiday there.

If you have decided to visit the seaside for your summer holiday but are still wondering what kind of accommodation would be best suited to your family, you should consider staying at a holiday park. Holiday parks are designed for families and have so many onsite attractions and things to do that you will be able to find something to do on every day of your holiday. There will be onsite entertainment in the way of theatrical and musical productions, sports shows, childrens entertainment and more. You should also be able to find bowling alleys, sports courts, games rooms and everything in between, so everyone can find something to suit their interests.
