subject: What Makes Lte Antennas Remarkable? [print this page] LTE Antennas provide telecommunications technology aimed at delivering wireless data over long distances in a variety of ways, from point-to-point links to full mobile cellular type access. LTE antennas deliver broadband service through a wireless connection. They utilize a cellular frequency that can be used in indoor and outdoor environments. LTE antennas make the perfect connection even with weak signals and inside buildings. But I guess that doesn't sound quite so remarkable does it?
But what if I told you that LTE antennas were are the forefront of the race for 4G the newest, fastest wireless communication connection, which promises faster download speeds and quicker data transfer rates, to more people over greater distances. The booster that LTE antennas provide, will for the fist time in some cases even bring an internet signal to rural locations where Broardband hasn't yet been realized because the cost of installing fibre optic cables.
Still not convinced that LTE Antennas are Remarkable? I have heard people say that 4G isn't all its cracked up to be and that therefore LTE antennas aren't all that amazing. The problem isn't with the antenna, but the fact that 4G hasn't actually been realized yet according to The International Telecommunications Union-Radio who have set down requirements which categorise 4G technology. Furthermore they explain that we currently have 3.9G and that when LTE Advanced is realized, we shall have the full 4G experience. This would explain why some people are expressing disappointment in the new technology.
However, when LTE Advanced is developed and is in general use we will feel the massive benefits. The LTE is operating on 700Mhz, and LTE antennas are already specifically made to cover the 700mhz LTE frequency; so that we can be 4G ready with our antennas before the actual launch. In a similar way that HD ready televisions were introduced before HD programs were actually broadcast.
So already LTE antennas are fairly remarkable, but when they can achieve 4G to full effect, we will consider them cutting edge technology that we are in ore of, for a short time at least anyway until we move on to the next generation of technology.
