subject: Sunglasses Help In Many Ways [print this page]

Sunglasses help reduce the risk of getting eye damage or any sort of eye discomfort that would lead to any complication resulting in blindness and other severe conditions. The sunglasses are usually dark and allow the light to be filtered before going into the eyes and this act allows several harmful rays to be deleted from the sunlight entering the eyes. The protection is must against the unstable rays having large photons. The harmful content is in the form of UV rays within the sunlight and causes complications of not only skin but also result in the irritation and discomfort of the eye. Abnormal rays have variable energy level and can be emitted in any quantity having any type of photon body. High energy rays, UV radiation and the visible light having high energy carriers play a major role in disrupting the function of the eye as the cells are affected in such a way that the function performed by each cell is adversely damaged. Iris and pupil even cornea can be ruptured due to excessive exposure to high energy radiation.

The sunglasses are used to cover the eyes in such a way that the unhealthy radiations are filtered and kept outside or reflected so that the infiltration of such wavelengths is prevented from showing effect. Eyesight can be improved using the sunglasses and the lenses are for stabilizing the problem of shortsightedness as well as farsightedness. The clip on glasses is the type of glasses that are used in the sunglasses to give color to the shades. They can be used in any shades to allow as the glasses used are colored and have many contrasting shades. The type of protection that is required for the eyes is provided by the glasses that are colored and suitable wavelength of light is allowed to pass through the lens and is filtered neatly to allow almost all the harmful rays to stay out or be reflected. The sufficient light of the sunlight is given to the glasses so that the proper light is allowed to penetrate for visual display.

The harmful light is just as dangerous as a bullet fired, as the light could easily rupture the cells of the eye and allow a person to go blind in a matter of days. The cornea, iris and pupil are damaged and can lead to several eye problems. UV radiations are prevented from reaching the eyes using such colored glasses. There are glasses that are clip on and they come in many colors. They allow the light to be reflected back and the unnecessary light is bounced back to avoid eye problems. They have polarized lens that allow the light to be polarized for less intense beam. The thickness of the glass has to be about 1.1 mm to avoid penetration of harmful rays. Gradient lenses are also used in the sunglasses to allow the shades to have variable darkness. The top side is seen to be darker as compared to the lower side and this gives a perfect polarizing ability to the shades.
