Her husband losing his job was not the only thing Kathy had to worry about in her life. She also was forced to start looking for a new home. Since her husband lost his job her wonderful life in a big house was coming to an end rapidly. Everything she had enjoyed and her lavish lifestyle was gone. Her husband hardly spoke anymore, and she was dealing with angry children. The one thing Kathy was never going to give up was all of her belongings. She had already put everything that was special to her in storage pods.

Kathy was in charge of finding a new home for her family. While her husband was out trying to find a job, she was on the internet looking for anything that was affordable. It was no longer about how big the house was and how many amenities it had, but what the cheapest rent was. This was very hard on Kathy. Her search brought her too many different places, but one place seemed to stick in her head.

Kathy had scheduled a visit to the new apartment complex and was pleasantly surprised to see how friendly the management was. Not only were they friendly but all of the people that lived at the apartment complex were very social. She also noticed that there were lots of children playing. Her boys had never had a chance to play with other kids because they lived out of town.

At dinner she announced to her family she found an apartment. At first her children were very mad, because they were used to a certain lifestyle. Kathy explained to them that she felt as though the apartment complex would be perfect for their situation. Her husband didn't have much to say and continued to eat dinner.

Packing up her house was very hard to do, however she knew in order to get ahead again, it was the only way. Kathy also began thinking of ways she could make money. With no schooling and never having a job, there was little out there for her, but she was a brainstorming different ideas.

The day of the move was very stressful because her children were angry and fighting, and her husband had not said much of anything to anyone. He was very mad at himself, and not in the mood to talk to anyone. Kathy was stressed-out, but felt as though she had a solution.

Arriving at the new place was very relieving. Kathy was ready for a friendly supportive environment. The apartment manager was a really nice lady that knew Kathy was struggling. Kathy got out of her car and was ready to start moving in. Kathy noticed that her kids stopped their fighting the minute they saw all of the children playing. That is when she knew, the move was the right place.

Even though a good majority of her home was in storage pods, Kathy kept it together and got herself a job across the street. In two months she became the manager of a small store.
