Educational Choice and Brian Green Utah House District 57

Educational choice is vitally important. Utah's children need the opportunity to make that educational choice. Utah's political issues are complex and require knowledge about many issues, knowledge that can be gained through offering Utah's parents and children a diverse educational choice. Too often, Utah's public schools are not ranked as highly in national tests as Utah's electorate would like. Brian Green, Utah House District 57 Representative believes that Utah's education system needs competition to bring innovation and excellence. Competition brings with it an educational choice. With issues such as state sovereignty and fiscal responsibility facing us, Utah's electorate should be educated. A quality education only happens with a quality educational choice.

Educational Choice Fosters Understanding of Government Roles

As a sharp attorney, Brian Greene knows that it's only through educational choice that the electorate is able to understand the role of government in their lives. A solid educational choice promotes excellent education. Too often, our children are going through school without understanding the constitution. Brian Greene believes that if Utah children had an educational choice, the children could choose appropriate curricula to gain better understanding of constitutional issues such as limited government, state sovereignty, economic liberty and fiscal responsibility.

Educational Choice Promotes Economic Liberty

Utah House Representative Brian Greene also believes that providing educational choice will help Utah's children understand how to achieve economic liberty in Utah. This Utah House District 57 Representative believes that future electorates must be educated in economics and history so that they can preserve their economic liberty and demand fiscal responsibility from the government. For example, currently Utah's government is in an economic protectionism stance, a basic understanding of economics and history shows how this stance has failed to achieve economic liberty and fiscal responsibility in the past. As our public schools too often falter in these subjects, Brian Greene would like more educational choice and alternative curricula that children can choose from.

Educational Choice Preserves Individual Responsibility

Educational choice helps Utah's future electorate to become more educated and better able to handle individual responsibility. A better educated electorate understands the complex issues facing them, such as state sovereignty, economic liberty, fiscal responsibility and the role of limited government. They will take the individual responsibility to vote accordingly. With educational choice in Utah, the future electorate will better the importance of preserving the constitutional ideal of limited government and state sovereignty. The future electorate will have the individual responsibility necessary to achieve fiscal responsibility in government. But, this can only be done with excellent educational choice.
