Individual Responsibility and Brian Green Utah House District 57

Where there is great freedom there is great individual responsibility. Brian Greene, Utah House District 57, takes individual responsibility seriously. This Utah House District 57 Representative has steadfastly refused to accept campaign contributions from special interest groups or PACs because he believes it would compromise his individual responsibility. A sharp attorney, he would rather stand on principle and lose his 2012 election race for Utah House District 57 than promise his influence to the highest bidder. Brian Greene has refused to give up his individual responsibility to represent his house electorate to the best of his ability.

Individual Responsibility Requires Limited Government

It's difficult to exercise individual responsibility in the shadow of big government. Without limited government, central government overshadows state sovereignty by making decisions that rightfully belongs to the states, and in a few notable cases, to the individual, taking away our individual responsibility. Without limited government, the government takes some of our choices, and our individual responsibility from us.

State Sovereignty Fosters Individual Responsibility

Brian Greene believes in Utah state sovereignty. When state sovereignty is protected and central government is limited, choices are left to individual states, such as Utah. We have much more individual responsibility and our votes affect us much more directly.

With Individual Responsibility Comes More Economic Liberty

With Utah state sovereignty and limited government, Utah would be able to make economic decisions that best suit its electorate. More of Utah's money would be able to stay in Utah and directly benefit Utah, creating more economic liberty. Economic liberty requires fiscal responsibility, as well as individual responsibility, to ensure that Utah's money is used wisely and well. Once again, more freedom requires individual responsibility.

Economic Liberty and Individual Responsibility Requires Less Government Regulation

As a Utah House District Representative, Brian Greene believes that economic liberty must thrive in Utah, and he wants to stop unnecessary government regulation so that Utah's business and economy liberty can thrive. More government regulation interferes with individual responsibility and hinders Utah's business development. He has consistently submitted bills in the Utah House to stop this unnecessary regulation so that Utah's economic liberty can grow. Brian Greene would like very much to retain more of Utah's money in Utah and gain more economic liberty and fiscal responsibility for Utah.

Educational Choice Enables Individual Responsibility

If we are going to leave the future and the individual responsibility that freedom requires in our children's hands, Brian Green, Utah House District Representative, knows that Utah's children really need the best schools in order to exercise individual responsibility,. How can we expect our children to exercise individual responsibility if they are not educated properly? Utah needs excellent educational choices. As a Utah House District Representative, Brian Greene believes that we must introduce competition into Utah's education system to spark innovation and excellence. Such competition will increase our educational choice. In addition, Utah needs education policies which allow both parents and children to exercise their individual responsibility to make good choices. In order to do this, there much be educational choices, such as alternative curricula.
