There are two major reasons specified- a. Buddh is derived from the word Buddha- the God, the one who represents peace, calm and enlightenment. The name is also supposed to be inspired from the place in which the track is located- Gautam Budh Nagar.
The Buddh International Circuit was awarded the "2011 Motorsport Facility of the year award". The Buddh International Circuit has been designed as one of the fastest and most exciting circuits in the world. The Circuit is supposed to host not only the Formula 1 event but also some of the other events of Motorsports also.
12 teams would be participating in the event. Force India is the Indian Team, the full name of the team is Sahara Force India F1 Team, the team is owned by Vijay Malya. The team is based in UK. The team's drivers are P di Resta, N Hulkenberg. The test driver is J Bianchi. Narain Karthikeyan is the only Indian Origin Driver who would be taking part in the event, the team for which he would be driving for is HRT.
This year the Formula One Race in India would be held on 28th October 2012, prior to that the drivers would have tasted the excitement in Korea as, the Korean Grand Prix would finish on 14th October 2012. The last year's winner at the Formula One event were the Red Bull Team.
