Yearbooks are important, because they allow for the memories to be kept within arm's length. We believe we may not ever forget all of the amazing times you spent with your friends. This is not always the case. There are going to be memories that slip through the cracks and that is when these keepsakes come into play for you.
They really are great!
Throughout the course of school, you may think that these books are really not that important. This is not the truth. You are absolutely going to care a great deal at some point. Whether we are settled down and want to share them with our kids or we just want to show our friends what we used to look like back in high school. These memories are a part of what makes you you and that benefits you and your relationships. We do need to keep a youthful spirit, so that is always an added bonus.
Showing Your Kids
Most of us have families when we settle down. Times tend to change a great deal and your kids may have questions about what fashion was like back when you were in school, what you looked like when you were their age, and the list can go on forever. There are so many reasons to want to keep these books. They are going to love hearing about the silly styles you may have worn and what their other parent looked like if you went to school with them. It can be a great time to laugh with your children while showing them what your life was like when you were in school, too.
Thanks for the Memories
There are so many memories for you in your school's yearbook. Every yearbook is full of pictures from dances and other events. Everything that meant something to you throughout your school career lies in these books. It is always great to look over what all of your friends wrote in it and have the heartwarming memories of everyone that ever meant anything to you in school. That and it is hilarious to see what the idiots wrote, too!
The Best Years!
Yearbooks are conducive to your holding onto the kid in you as well as remembering what helped make you you. You can go through and see your favorite teachers, your favorite people's pictures, and read what people have to say to you. This is a reminder that truly stirs up all of the great feelings you probably haven't felt in years.
