The best 16 teams of Europe will be competing against each other to win the UEFA Euro Cup- the top most of the European nations football cup program 2012 this year in the grounds of Poland and Ukraine. The Euro Cup 2012 schedule will span for a time period of about a month. It will commence on June 8 and will end on the 1st of July. The two semis will be played on June 27 and June 28 at the Donbass Arena (Donetsk) and the National stadium (Warsaw) respectively while the finale will be played on July 1 at the Olympic Stadium (Kiev).

The motto of the cup is Creating history together together. The mascots are Slavek and Slavko. The logo of the Euro cup is Vytynanky or Wycinanki. Endless summer by the German band Oceana has been chosen as the official song.

The National Stadium of Warsaw will witness the Euro 2012 Opening ceremony on June 8. The Olympic Stadium of Kiev will witness the Closing ceremony on July 1. About 800 volunteers or more of the 2 countries will be part of the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the Euro cup this year.

The Euro cup 2012 venues are all the well known cities of the two host countries Poland and Ukraine which are Donetsk, Gdask, Kharkiv, Kiev, Lviv, Pozna, Warsaw and Wrocaw. The football stadiums which would be serving as the Euro cup 2012 stadiums are Arena Lviv (Lviv), Donbass Arena (Donetsk), Metalist stadium (Kharkiv), Municipal stadium (Pozna), Municipal stadium (Wrocaw), National stadium (Warsaw), Olympic stadium (Kiev) and PGA Arena (Gdask).

The teams playing in the Euro cup 2012 are as listed. Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Russia, Spain, Sweden and Ukraine are the 16 teams which have emerged out of the 51 teams in the qualifying rounds.

The Euro cup 2012 qualifying rounds started up in August 2010 and it ended up in November 2011. A total of 16 teams have qualified for the Euro cup out of 51 teams. These 16 teams have been grouped into 4 groups. The Euro cup 2012 football teams groups are as follows. Group A has the teams of Czech Republic, Greece, Poland and Russia. Denmark, Germany, Netherlands and Portugal constitute the Group B. the teams of Croatia, Italy, Republic of Ireland and Spain. The teams of England, France, Sweden and Ukraine constitute the Group D.
