subject: Include Omega 3 For Better Health [print this page]

It can never be guaranteed that you will never suffer from any aches and pains associated with arthritis. Not worrying about your cholesterol or having a heart attack or stroke. You get a feeling of being much more youthful and energetic. Memory loss may be a thing which your uncle or grand parents had suffered from, but you are going great guns and remember your wedding anniversary every year. That could still be happening after 50 years together. If you have spent 50 years with someone, wouldn't it be great to enjoy the retired life you always dreamed of. Not to be sitting in a wheel chair or using a walker to get around. Not to be bed ridden or in an old age shelter for the people who need a lot help.

It is very much possible to maintain the good health as mentioned above, but it cannot be guaranteed. I am doing all humanly possible to spend my later years in life with my husband in good health so we can go fishing, camping, work in our gardens and to enjoy our lives to the fullest. We have raised our children, now helping out with the grandchildren until he reaches retirement. We do have our old age plans. I don't want our plans to be going to doctors and physical therapy.

What steps am I taking to maintain my health? I am taking omega 3 regularly. I take 3 tablets every day along with calcium to maintain the strength of my bones and vitamin D. I also take multi vitamin capsules. The omega 3 is one of the most important things I take. It keeps my blood thinner helping to prevent a build up of plaque in my arteries, it helps prevent blood clots, and helps with my cholesterol. I am hopeful of preventing arthritis, stop the bone loss I already have, and keep my memory sharp.

I also hope to keep my blood pressure low as it has always been, prevent heart disease, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, depression, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, skin disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, prevent asthmatic attacks, prevent getting macular degeneration, a type of blindness my father has, and also prevent many types of cancer. Cancer is also something in my close ancestral history.

That is quite a list of things that simply taking a gel tab three times a day can help me prevent. Again, no guarantees. Life sometimes moves in directions that we aren't happy with no matter what we have done, but why not try to prevent it. Why just ruin your health if there is something you can do that may make you a healthier being?

I don't give up easily. I will go out fighting to stay healthy and alive. I tell my husband, no one pulls the plug on me. I am taking omega 3 regularly to improve the quality of my life and praying that things go well. Taking omega 3 makes me feel a lot better.

Do take a chance to maintain good health for life. Start on a routine of working omega 3 into your diet today.
