What would motivate someone to want to start a home based business? What problem would having a network marketing business solve for someone? What would someone really, really want from a lifestyle that would interest someone in a network marketing business? Etc

Analyze the answers to these questions and more and you will know who is the perfect prospect for you. Then you can easily pre-qualify your prospect with a simple question or two and save yourself an enormous amount of wasted time.

Here are a couple of more network marketing success tips that build on the first one.

Create a marketing plan. A marketing plan will give you some structure around generating leads for your business. A great way to start building a marketing plan for your network marketing business is to understand your strengths, weaknesses, likes and dislikes.

For example, do you like networking in person? If so, you may want to attend several networking groups per month. Are you good with social media? If so, you can step up your social media activity to generate leads that way. Do you enjoy writing? Yes? How about blogging and article marketing for lead generation.

The last of the three network marketing success tips I want to share with you combines the first two, and that is creating a marketing budget.

Almost any lead generation or marketing activity is going to cost you time or money or both. So, just like any business enterprise that is successful, you have to determine what you can do and/or afford to do to get your marketing campaign going.

If your budget is tight, look for strategies that are free that will only cost you your time and a cup of coffee at a free networking event. You can find plenty through Meetup.com.

If you have some money to invest in marketing, start doing some online marketing. If you dont have the skills for that you can spend a little money on training or outsource it. You could also do flyers, buy leads, or pay per click advertising.
