WONIL ENG, a leading pipe extrusion system manufacturer in South Korea, has developed a new pipe extrusion system and provided complete pipe extrusion lines to many other companies.

According to WONIL ENG, this new version of pipe extrusion system provides customers with high output and outstanding product quality, easy-to-control and maintain with material reduction. WONIL supplies complete extrusion lines for the production of high quality floor heating (hot & cold water supply) pipe with pipe diameter up to 63mm. The functions of all extrusion line elements are harmonized and equipped with economic automation systems.

Pipe extrusion is defined as the process of forcing the polymer melt through a shaping die. The extrudate from the die is sized, cooled and the formed pipe is pulled to the winder or a cut off device with the aid of haul off device.

Prior to this, the plastic material in the form of polymer granules is fed into the hopper, conveyed by a rotating screw through a long cylindrical barrel.

This is subjected simultaneously to high temperature and pressure, forcing the melt through the die at a predetermined rate.

The most thermoplastic piping materials being used are Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Polyethylene (PE). Both PVC and PE are thermoplastic polymer. Polyvinyl chloride is the third most widely producedplastic, afterpolyethyleneandpolypropylene.PVC is widely used in constructionbecause it is cheap, durable, and easy to assemble. PE on the other hand, is the most widely used plastic and its primary use is within packaging.

Other than these, WONIL ENG has developed and been providing various products. For example, gaseous pipe extrusion, water supply pipe extrusion, extrusion die head, vacuum calibrator, haul-off device, screw extruder, single screw extruder, sewage pipe extrusion, plastic pipe bandsaw, plastic welding machine and so on.
