subject: How To Succeed In School By Using The Law Of Success [print this page]

The law of success is surprisingly malleable, and can be tailor-fit to a whole host of situations, great and small. One of the best ways to use the law at an early age is to harness its powers in order to succeed in school. But how exactly does one do that, you ask? Well, below are five fairly common ways to do just that. Try them out for yourself!

1.Succeed in School through Class Elections

Class elections are an awesome way for you to practice the law of success in all its aspects. After all, it isnt just enough to be smart and hardworking when you want to win the vote of the majority. You also have to be likeable. You have to prove that people can most definitely trust you. If you are able to bring out the best in yourself and succeed in getting these people to root for you, then suffice it to say that you will have cemented your position as a bona fide success in school. Everyone loves and trusts the class president, so why cant he be you?

2.Succeed in School through Recitation

You dont have to be a know-it-all to be great at recitation during class. While a lot of people sound like theyre just showing off when they stand up and speak in the middle of a lecture, thats just one way of reciting. One great way to recite and use the law of success quite subtly is to ask more questions, rather than be the first one to blurt out the correct answer in an attempt to aggrandize yourself. Show to your teachers that you are genuinely curious about the lesson, and that you trust them to teach you more. This will definitely get you on their good side, and when grading comes at the end of the year, theyll remember you as the highly inquisitive one.

3.Succeed in School through Contests

One of the most obvious ways to harness the law of success is through contests, and there are quite a few competitions available in the school setting. From spelling bees to inter-collegiate science showcases, theres bound to be something you can work hard at winning. So if you see a sign-up sheet that piques your interest, go for it! If you lose, you can chalk it up as a learning experience. And if you win, you will definitely benefit from it for the rest of your stay in school. So, dont be afraid to take that risk. Only true winners do!

4.Succeed in School through Extra Credit

Making the law of success work for you requires gumption and foresight. You cant just go by the book and do everything that the teachers tell you to the letter. You also have to step above and beyond these requirements and prove your worth by doing extra credit assignments. It can be as simple as a three-page essay on your insights on a particular topic, to an all-out one-man exhibit on the said topic. Prove to your teachers that you have a passion for learning and for expressing what youve learned. Theyll love you for it and reward you handsomely.

5.Succeed in School through Studying

Yes, this sounds absolutely silly judging by how obvious it is, but it really does bear repeating: if you want to make it to the top of your class, you have to study AND study hard. The law of success truly rewards good old fashioned hard work and discipline, so dont try to skirt those nights when you really need to hit the books. And remember that studying isnt just about reading and memorizing. Its about understanding what youve been reading and memorizing. Exercise your brain as you read and youll be able to recall essential details for class and exams much easier.

Using the law of success to your advantage can be one of the smartest things you could ever do for yourself. So, if you havent tried it out for any situation just yet, it is highly recommended that you use it first in order to succeed in school, or get better at something you do in school, if youre already the type to get to the top of the class. Dont be afraid to experiment with this law. The more you attune it to your unique self, the better!
