In the morning we will greet You and pick you up from your hotel in El Gouna by your own private English speaking Egyptologist guide who will accompany you to the visit the world famous Karnak temple In ancient times, Karnak was known as Ipet-isut, The most venerated place. Work began on this vast temple complex in the 16th century BC with construction continuing over the next 2,000 years as each successive pharaoh added to the sites epic scale. The temple complex of Karnak was the most important place of worship in ancient Egypt. The site is huge, measuring 1500 x 800 meters, and is a spectacular complex of sanctuaries, kiosks, pylons and obelisks, all dedicated to the Theban gods. It is thought to be the largest surviving religious complex in the world. If you dont have the energy to cover all that ground then dont miss the Hypostile Hall in the Great Temple of Amun. During Luxor trip you will enjoy a relaxing Lunch at good quality restaurant and then enjoy the second part of Luxor trip by transferred you to west bank of river nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), and the see the ancient tombs in the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs discovered, those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs, you will visit 3 tombs.
