subject: Attitude Describes A Person Status [print this page] When we are in a good position we tend to act and react without thinking our past. It happened to me and it happens to everyone. It is not wrong but the attitude you carry will help you to make more enemies than friend. A perfect example would be when one goes for a dinner at a restaurant. During your college days no matter which place you got you would order the best dishes which you would love and munch on it. But when you get your degrees and lands up a good job you demand more and you want the best place but the dishes you order is to keep you healthy as other dishes wouldnt suit your body.
It is not a wrong thing to change with the circumstances but to behave rudely if you fail to get what you demanded. If you didnt get a good place you shouldnt throw tantrums and show the value of your money. You should leave the place if you didnt like the place allotted to you but creating a scene in there shows you attitude which changed as per your tastes. I was one of them who used to behave rudely with people. I didnt care about what one thought about me. I wanted the best and if I didnt get it I try and show the power of money. I would have been the same if I hadnt met Mr. Yadav in Pancard clubs, Pune. I was there to attend a function in Area-51 and I was given a warm welcome by the host. The table reserved for me was very far from the center and I did not like it. I argued with the manager of providing me a good table or else threatened to leave the party. This argument was overheard by one gentlemen and he requested the manager to swipe his table with mine. I was happy but I was in doubt why would one decide to give away his table which was right in front and book the table at the corner. I was proud that I managed to get the best table.
When the event commenced I was horrified to see the person who gave me his table was the guest of honor for the event. I felt ashamed of the fact that the person who was way bigger than me in status didnt thought twice before swiping his table with me. After the event I went to meet and asked him why he gave his table to me. The casual reply which he gave to me was that he didnt mind sitting anywhere coz he is not bothered about society. I realized my mistake. I acted because I was more concerned about my society status. I wanted others to view me as a reputed man but I forgot my attitude to make it happen hurt my status more than anything else. The person, Mr. Yadav, held a good position in Panoramic Universal Ltd. (PUL) and it was he who helped me a better human being.
