subject: Moringa Species [print this page]

The Moringa tree has several different species. The Moringa Oleifera tree is used for health and health products.

The Moringa Oleifera tree has a light-colored tree trunk that is often very round and much thicker than the Moringa oleifera branches which are short and very thin. The Moringa Oleifera leaves are a flat oval shape. The Moringal Oleifera tree is found much in the East. However, there are thirteen species of the Moringa Oleifera and each species varies in size. Some species of the Moringa tree can look like a tiny herb plant while other Moringa oleifera tree species are very large trees. Some species of the moringa tree have massive tree trunks while other moringa oleifera tree species are tall and have spindly, long tall tree branches. There are subtropical and tropical climates of Moringa oleifera tree species. But, one thing about the moringa oleifera tree species is that the Moringa oleifera tree can be used for many health purposes.

The moringa oleifera tree is often cultivated throughout tropical climate. Moringa oleifera is originally from the Himalayas found in the north-west of India, but because of the health uses of the Moringa oleifera, the tree species is cultivated in many other tropical areas. There is a species of moringa tree cultivated in Africa which is the stenopetala species of the moringa which is cultivated for many of the same health uses in Africa as in West Bengal India, but the moringa oleifera species is the most widely cultivated and grown species of the moringa tree.

Because of the health uses of the Moringa oleifera and that each part of the moringa oleifera tree can be used for health purposes, the moringa oleifera tree is being cultivated as a way to fight malnutrition and poverty. The moringa oleifera is also edible for livestock and the moringa oleifera grows very quickly in the right kind of environment. For these reasons the moringa oleifera is being used to combat poverty.

Reasons why the moringa oleifera tree is being used to combat malnutrition is for the vitamin rich leaves and tree oil. The moringa oleifera tree contains all of the essential amino acids for a human being to have good health. The moringa oleifera tree is abundantly full of protein and minerals. The moringa oleifera leaves contain vitamins A, B, and C. For these reasons the moringa oleifera tree is being used to turn malnutrition into abundant health.

Another reason for using the moringa oleifera tree to fight poverty is that the fast growing moringa oleifera is shown to help cattle gain weight by thirty-two percent because of the protein found in the moringa oleifera leaves. Also, the moringa oleifera leaves have been known to increase the production of milk in cattle by around fifty percent. The moringa oleifera seeds and leaves together can help produce health in cattle while at the same time giving a meal health to those cultivating the moringal oleifera tree and/or plant.

With all the health benefits to humans and animals alike you can see why the moringa oleifera tree is an invaluable plant for health, wellness, and prosperity.
