subject: Blast From The Past [print this page] I open the box and there it wasI open the box and there it was. It's one of the most meanest and baddest remote control cars I have ever seen! The Tornado S30 4x4! The sight of it is intimidating! It's crome rims and big rubber tires surround a sleek flamed painted fiber glass body. I thought I had died and gone to heaven! I couldn't wait to hear this nitro engine sing! I set it up on my table in my kitchen, fill it full of nitro fuel, waiting for my glow plug igniter to charge and man let me tell you, when I pulled that starter cord for the first time and heard that engine come to life, sounding like a Tazmanian Devil, really angry, knowing I'm in full control with the remote that came with it, I went all the way back to my childhood in a split second! I took it outside, this beast idling in my hands and set it down and hit the throttle. The buggy exhilarated and took off across the yard and across the street within seconds! I'm thinking "oh no, what did I get myself into"? But it all turned out so fun! I was reliving my childhood all over again but with a new twist of speed and power that I could not believe! The rc vehicles I had back then didn't come anywhere close to this speed demon! I have always loved these things and hope that I can share that love with others.
