subject: Fuss Free Heating With Myson Radiators [print this page]

We all need to heat our homes and the days of open fires are not possible in modern homes if they don't have chimneys or fireplaces. The picturesque and ideology of an open fire still has its appeal to some as a one-off event which is typically during the festive season. For the rest of the year the vast majority of us want a quick, easy and effective way to heat our homes, and while open-fires and wooden burners are usually effective quick and easy they aren't. You only have to ask anyone and they'll tell you that the ambience they create is wonderful the cleaning and stocking of wood isn't.

I remember just a couple of years ago we moved to an old farm house which needed renovation. I, like many others, thought the idea of an open-fire would be the icing on the cake. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye and full of old world charm. In reality it was a nightmare! There was no turning on the heat with a dial, the fireplace has to be cleaned, wood chopped and the whole rigmarole of getting the fire to light, something which once delighted us, was now just a pain and inconvenience.

We discussed and looked at alternative heating arrangements. We wanted the creature comforts of speedy heat without any hassle. Having decided upon central heating we then had to choose radiators that were in keeping, or as near as possible, to the style of our home.

A friend of ours told us about Myson radiators, saying that they have a wide range of styles to choose from. Without further ado we went online to see for ourselves the designs that were available. It seemed rather strange looking online rather than flicking the pages of a brochure and yet online shopping is the way of the world and furthermore the site we chose was packed full of relevant information about the latest radiator styles and designs and we could also send off for their brochure if we wished - making the shopping experience the best of both worlds.

Electric column radiators had the look we were after, but with all the added benefits of the latest labour and energy saving technology. With the style firmly fixed in our minds we were able to confidently call in a trades-person (one that was registered and held all of the appropriate credentials - you can't be too careful these days) to come and install the central heating using Myson radiators.

The trades-person agreed that Myson offered top of the range radiators to suit all styles of homes. He had recently fitted a vertical Myson radiator in someone's home and was as impressed by the end results as his client. He also suggested we had a towel radiator in the bathroom, a great way to wrap yourself in comfort after a shower or a bath.

We're both really pleased with our choice of Myson radiators and although we occasionally talk about the open-fire, there is no way on this earth I would put-up with the work involved just to get heat that didn't even reach every corner of our rooms!
