subject: Get Into The Team Spirit By Wearing Football Kits Made To Order [print this page]

The world of football has been instilled into the thoughts and minds of our children from an early age. Often, you see newborn babies kitted out in their favourite jerseys, (well their parents' favourite jerseys!), little white shorts, and mini footballs, looking so cute. Growing up myself in a football mad household, it was inevitable that one or more of us would go on to have a career in the game.

As it happened, our uncle actually owned a small local football club, and during his years there it flourished and topped the inter club leagues. Every weekend as kids, me, and my brothers would be willingly dragged off to the home matches, and cheered on our team as if it was playing premiership standard.

Judging by the ecstatic crowds, chanting the club songs and roaring in exuberant support, there was a wonderful and very real sense of kinship, which helped to unite us as a family long after the sale of the club grounds some years later. Notwithstanding, we still remained ardent supporters of the club and followed their progress over the years.

One of the things that helps to create a sense of identity and team spirit, is the wearing of your team colours. I remember one of my kids wanting to wear the No. 7 jersey so that he could show the world his love and affinity with his football idol, David Beckham.

Nowadays, when he does the Lottery, he puts in the No.7 as one of his lucky numbers. Sadly, he has yet to get all the other numbers at the same time! Being a football supporter is a great buzz, especially when your team is winning.

When it comes to joining a club, the youngsters get together and try to emulate their heroes on the pitch, copying all their individual gestures and movements. Achieving the ultimate by scoring a goal can send you and your team into a frenzied fever.

Nothing is as important as the feeling of success and triumph. Your team mates clap you on the back, smiling broadly in admiration at your skill. Never have you felt so good.

Wearing your team colours is something you do with immense pride and dignity. Those clothes are revered and they stand for all things 'united' in every sense of the word. You feel noble and majestic as you proudly sport your beloved kit.

Buying football kits is all part of the process. An online service that specialises in football kits takes all the pain out of shopping. We had decided to revamp our kit and replace our ageing gear with a whole new set of colours.

We decided to have our club logo embroidered on to our shirts, along with our names and player numbers. There are lots of combinations to choose from, either as a complete package, or you can have your kit custom made to suit your team's requirements. When ordering, you are directed to the drop-down menus where you can input all your details.

Combinations such as shirt main colour, collar colour, shirt trim colour, and shorts main, inset and piping colour, can all be worked to suit. You then choose size, fabric, and so on, and advise whether or not you want any printing done. And don't forget the socks - they come as part of the package. A great range of styles is available to choose from.

As a team, we ventured out onto the pitch in our new football kits to the lively cheers of the crowd and never before were we so elated.
