subject: Ways Of Getting Treated Like A Vip Wherever You Are [print this page]

Have you ever wondered how certain men and women get VIP treatment? What is it that makes them so much more special than you? Do they own a nice car or have a fat pay check? You may be surprised to learn they are probably no different than you are. They simply know the secrets behind getting treated like a VIP. Generally, there really is no better experience than being treated just like a VIP in a restaurant, and once you know how to get this special treatment, you can use the same strategies for other aspects of your life.

Ask in advance; else, you won't know what you can have access to. Call the establishment in advance and request them to treat you like a VIP on your arrival. Make a booking, and order ahead of time. Many restaurants are open to requests such as these, especially these days that competition in the industry is fierce. They'll want to be assured that you are completely serious, so be sure to bring some friends and family with you. This way, the hotel's management and personnel will feel that you're offering them good business.

Be one of the first clients to try a new restaurant and taste the menu. Restaurants treat first customers with a special status, and you may even see your picture framed up on the wall for years to come. Order an expensive drink. Restaurant personnel tend to give a preferential treatment to someone who orders a high end drink before supper. Order a brandy that is among the most expensive drinks on the menu.

Ask your server questions about the menu. Ask just what most customers order. You will get a list of the most popular choices. Ask also about what's not usually ordered that the chef would similarly recommend. There is nothing worse for a chef than making a signature dish that nobody orders. If you happen to request for this particular dish, the entire staff will take be aware of the same and you'll probably get extra special treatment.

Commend the chef. This is not very common in today's times, and chefs really appreciate it when you let them know you have seriously enjoyed what they've presented to you. Many people don't make the effort to say the same about the work put into by the chef in preparing their food. If you can take the time to leave a note to the chef, this can raise you to a celebrity status the next time you visit them. It sounds silly, but, it could mean a great deal.

Leave a tip preferably at least 25% of your bill. If you are within a strict budget, then you shouldn't be going out to any restaurants. If you want to be treated like a VIP, then you need to really make it worth the staff's service. Leaving a substantial amount of tip will earn you a special treatment when you turn up at the restaurant. A lot of people don't think of giving a decent tip, and this is a huge mistake.
