Early morning pickup from your hotel in Marsa Alam, travel in an Ac modern van for four and half hours to Aswan. Upon arrival your personal Egyptologist guide will lead the way to Philae Temple, it was dedicated to goddess Isis, the temple was transferred on Agilika Island due to the High Dam construction . Continue the day in Aswan to the Unfinished Obelisk, its owner is not known but it offers unique insights into ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques. Now it is the time to visit the High Dam which is an engineering miracle constructed in 1960 and finished in 1970. Finally you will be transferred to your hotel in Aswan for check in and overnight.
Optionally: evening trip to the fabulous Sound and light show at Philae temple.
Day 2: Abu Simbel Over Day
Get your breakfast in box, prepare your self for the life time trip and get ready at 03:15 AM in your hotel reception. Our guide with an AC modern van will pick you up to travel for 3 hours to Abu Simbel. It is the main attraction in your tour being the great sun temple of Ramses II and the temple of his wife queen Nefertari, both temples were discovered in 1813, it was almost completely covered with sand. Then both temples were transferred in 1960 by Unesco and the Egyptian government to save them from the rising water of the Nile. End the tour driving back to Aswan to spend some free walking time before getting the way back to Marsa Alam by 6 pm.
