subject: Samsung Galaxy Y Duos [print this page] The Samsung Company announced Galaxy Note during IFA 2011 in Berlin. Its first sale is from Germany in late October 2011, with other countries following shortly after that.By the end of November, it was available in most major markets, including East Asia, Europe and India. In December 2011, Samsung announced that one million Galaxy Notes were shipped in less than two months, and that a North American variant would be available in February 2012. In January 2012, the US version of the Galaxy Note was featured at the 2012 International CES in Las Vegas, allowing press to get an early look at the new device.
As of the first quarter of 2012 from January to March, 5 million have been sold.
A sighting in Samsung's own Kies app may have cemented the GT-i9300's status as the Galaxy S III ahead of its release. As caught by Sam Mobile, the syncing software shows two "Galaxy S3" models, both using the i9300 name. One of them is badged as the i9300T, likely a reference to support for frequencies at a different carrier or country. The two are using a Galaxy Note image, although that's most likely a placeholder until Samsung is ready to reveal the hardware's real design. Current hardware may be in a disguise to mask its real appearance.
This Samsung Galaxy Mobile is another phone from their series of dual SIM Android phones. The Galaxy Y Duos looks a regular Touch phone from Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Y Duos runs on Android 2.3 and has an able 833MHz processor which is supported by a decent 384MB RAM. The 3MP camera on the back is the only camera on the phone while its brother Galaxy Y Pro Duos has a couple of cameras. The 3.2inch screen has a resolution of 240320 pixels and it is definitely not the best. The poor pixel density fails to make the display any better.
The Samsung Galaxy Y Duos is another addition to the Android line up from Samsung and the only thing that separates it from the other entry range Android phones is that it is a dual SIM phone. Buy the Galaxy Y Duos Only if you need a dual SIM TOUCH ONLY Phone.
