A budding industry of the current era, it brings a relative boom in all its relative sectors. Engineers and designers hugely profited from this industry as it provides immense opportunities.

Commercial Vehicles:

A car could be commercially used for transportation purpose. Various categories of vehicles come under this category. SUVs and MUVs are different grades under it. It depends on the maneuverability and the size of the vehicle. Some vehicles could hold in more people than others could. Commercial vehicles are usually mass-produced and are usually within an economically feasible range. Ford Motors, Volkswagen, and Toyota are leaders in this segment of car production. The annual market for these vehicles is estimated to be around $1 trillion worldwide. The commercial vehicle segment has a bright scope as people earn more and more as the time passes.

A few of the vehicles in this segment are designed for safety. With airbags and Anti-lock brakes, the operator of the car is provided with improved safety. Thus, vehicles are brought based on safety features also.

Sports:

Cars in this category are usually rated with its speed and performance. Graded on their quickness and acceleration scale, this segment has many players. Ferrari, Shelby, and Porsche are some of the famous names. These days, races involving such cars have gained fame. The speed range of these vehicles lists around 250mph. Affording such vehicles is difficult as they are expensive. Moreover, as these vehicles are not mass-produced, procuring them takes time. Almost every vehicle in this category has its own specialty and a distinctive style. Enthusiasts collect them for hobby or driving pleasure.

Sports cars used for Formula 1 races reach very high speeds. Specially designed for racers, these could seat only the driver. The shape of these cars is distinct in order to pierce through the air. Very light in weight, these cars are noisier than the commercial ones. This is due to their powerful build of engine power and purpose. Safety while driving these cars is also given more priority as it involves higher speed. Thus, trained drivers and safer tracks are used when it comes to dealing with sports cars.
