If you have hired a moving company, they will visit you a day before to keep a watch.
Assign or deploy a person on the site to supervise the packing
Valuable items like gold and expensive metals should be packed with extra care and it would be better if you yourself do it
Label all the carton and boxes. Fragile items should get special attention
