Since food is something everyone needs to stay healthy then consider what the best way to eat healthy, stay healthy and save money. How can you save money in these area's of your life? It's all a matter of simple lifestyle changes that people take for granted everyday.

It stands to reason the healthier you are, the less you will spend on medical expenses. Therefore, there is a direct link between the foods you eat and how much you spend on medical expenses? Having a garden and eating fresh foods from your garden is one of the best and healthiest things you can do for yourself.

When your having a good day and feel healthy you don't think much about it. Then when you get sick you start thinking about what you want and what you need to eat to get healthy again. So how can you continue to feel and be healthy all the time? By getting the proper amount of the right foods, exercise and sleep.

Some of the foods people eat daily are full of empty nutrients and are just a filler to get them past the hunger craving. Other foods are full of nutrients that the body needs to stay healthy and provide us with energy. For example; a person with a cold may need vitamin C so they eat some fruit. Another example is when the body needs some protein so they eat something that has protein in it. Do you think about what nutrients you are eating every time you eat something? Of course not and you are not alone in this way of thinking.

Many people go through life everyday and give it very little thought and assume they have no control over their health but, this is not true. Everyone has control over their health and many health issues can be controlled with what you eat or how it is prepared. There are some diseases that people can not stop from getting but, you can still manage these diseases and control them instead of the disease controlling you.

What is meant by that is simply don't let the disease consume you. When you are diagnosed with a disease you have two choices. You can become the disease and let the disease control your life or you can manage the disease and control the disease and still live your life normally. Many people prefer the latter of the two choices but, don't know how to do it.

Anytime a person has to make a change in their life it is scary and it doesn't need to be that way. Change is simply doing something in a different way. When you do it enough times then this new way of doing things has become normal and a part of a daily routine. Then after awhile of doing it this new way then it's not so scary and has become easy. A new normal way of life for you. Therefore you have accepted the changed that needed to take place, made the change and now your no longer scared of the change.

When you think about the foods that are purchased in a grocery store, they are more of the processed foods. It is a normal way of life to go to the grocery store to buy your foods. Stores always carry a variety of foods, some canned and some fresh. Are these foods the best for you and your health? Which do you purchase and how much does it cost? The fresh foods always cost more and these are the healthiest foods for the body.

When you have a garden you know what your getting. You know it is fresh food and it will keep you healthier longer and save on medical expenses. It will also help you save on food since you can now buy less foods from the grocery store. These foods are also healthier for you and you get exercise taking care of a garden.

When you think about the cost of these types of foods it is always easiest to choose the canned or processed foods from the store because they are the cheapest at the moment. However, the processed foods lead to an unhealthier lifestyle and you will spend more money on your health and medical cost in the long run. When looking at the big picture, overall these foods are no longer the cheapest anymore and become the most expensive.

Medical expense will cost more than when you take care of yourself and eat right. When your getting good amounts of fresh foods, exercise and get the rest your body needs you naturally stay healthier. Planting and growing your own food will allow you to know exactly what your getting and what is going in your body. You'll save more money having a garden, you'll get good daily exercise and a good nights rest. Thus, saving money on your food and medical expenses.

It doesn't take much time or effort to have a garden and grow your own food. Greenhouses and greenhouses kits are ideal for people in the city, apartments, townhouses and any small living area. They come in various sizes and allow people without big yards to still have a garden.

Gardens and Greenhouses make a wise investment into your future.
