subject: What Is Our Sub-Conscious [print this page] You explain to them in every possible way, but they still don't agree with you? This is due to the fact they're very stubborn, but what makes people so stubborn? The sub-conscious mind. Something that has intrigued psychiatrists and other professionals for decades.
You see the conscious mind wants to keep you from listening to everything everybody tells you. It keeps you from jumping off a cliff when someone tells you to, and most importantly it keeps you from buying from every store on the face of the planet. This is what I like to call a sub-conscious barrier, a mechanism developed to keep from accepting most new ideas.
This is what causes stubbornness, and there is a way to overcome it. Large corporate companies will keep showing "buy now!' a million times hoping that it will soon reach your sub-conscious and well, soon you will 'buy now!'. Hypnotherapists and psychologists have been using hypnosis to bypass the conscious mind to make people more susceptible to ideas for centuries.
Truth is, there are a million ways to access the sub-conscious, and people all around the world want to keep most of them hidden, as they could develop into an unfair advantage. And if many people would know it, it would create chaos. Think about it, everybody is selling to everybody, and especially in a capitalist country, it wouldn't take long for the economy to collapse.
That's why the world and the media wants to keep people busy, and to never look at this tool, or as I would call it: a weapon. But they do exist, whether you like it or not.
