It is a fantastic morale booster to come home and be a contributing member of society again instead of an unemployed ex-military relying on the kindness of your family and friends. Being able to support yourself is definitely something that helps the psyche. Our fighting men and women deserve at the very least to be mentally well when they come back home and they definitely deserve the chance to work in the private sector again.
