subject: How To Rewrite Articles And Create Content Of Higher Quality [print this page]

Running out of ideas for content? Perhaps you may wish to rewrite some of your existing articles and need them come up as better content. Here are some tips on how to create articles that are of high quality - even if they are rewrites.

Tip 1: Use a completely unique article title. It takes just a few seconds to modify the title. The title is the first thing that readers see. So if you change it, the content will immediately be perceived as unique. The reader will be more inclined to read the rest of the article.

Tip 2: Remove the bad parts and add new content. never just replace the words of an article when doing a rewrite. Take this as an prospect to improve on the article. Removing words and replacing them with new ones is NOT considered as a rewrite. The material will remain the same and there is no value add. Read by using the article and remove anything that doesn't add value to the article. Then think of new ideas to write about and add them into the article. Readers will enjoy the new content a lot more.

Tip 3: Looking someone else to do the rewrite. A fresh pair of eyes may be what you need to looking a good rewrite. A unique writer will look at the same issues with unique perspectives. Even though the basic topics are essentially the same, the writing style will be different. The overall result is that you need an entire piece of writing that looks original.

Tip 4: Proofreading and formatting works. If you want to improve on the quality of your rewritten articles, give more time on proofreading and formatting. Read over the articles at least two to three times. Have some else proof read the articles if possible. A fresh pair of eyes may catch mistakes that you may need missed. Also, give a few minutes to format the words properly. Basic formatting such as paragraphing, bold, underline, etc. should be performed. This will improve on the overall presentation of the articles.

Tip 5: No using of software! A little webmasters resort to using software to rewrite articles. No software can replace the human mind when it comes to writing. Usually, a piece of writing software accomplishes very little. What the software does is to take in the input from the writer, and then spit back the very same content with some words replaced. At times, the entire context of the writing is changed simply because some important words are replaced. This has led to articles that are rendered meaningless.

In sum, there is no short cut when doing rewrites. You can save a bit of time as you do not need to brain storm for ideas as you write. But you do need to put in some effort to ensure that the final article is of decent quality.
