subject: The Latest Angry Birds Will Not Be On Windows Devices [print this page]

Several days ago the Google corporation introduced the recent video game from the Angry Birds sequence. Angry Birds Space is a continuation of the game that has transformed the world. The new game has a couple of new benefits and it will keep you entertained for long periods. It is true that this game demands a perfect cellphone to run and it will not perform great on older designs.

Only a day after the launch of the game a Nokia representative made a public announcement. He made it clear that the new Angry Birds Space might not be available on the mobile phones that run the windows mobile system.

After this statement, one of the producers of the game came out and made its own declaration. He claimed that the workers at Rovio understand that the Angry Birds video game is the best sold app in the Windows Phone store, but this does not mean that the game is going to be built to work with the platform. He said that the work needed to rewrite the game is huge and it is not really worth the effort to completely remake the video game just for this platform.

This option is a big smack for Nokia. They have just stated that they will kick off a new series of smartphones that will use the Windows platform. They have also pointed out that they will not carry on the development of the Symbian program. Nokia will certainly take a hard hit as they just started out to make a comeback in the market. Not having access to Angry Birds might be a strong a good reason to choose another cellphone and this is simple since the market is full of awesome cell phone deals from other companies.

Nokia will take a great hit on its greatest retail market. They had an increase in sales in China and the brand new decision of the people at Rovio could turn the wheel. Nokia could lose a lot of Chinese consumers and their cell phones will be again looked as disappointments. The lobbyists at Nokia should try and convince the people at Rovio to make the game compatible with the Windows platform. This is the only option that Nokia has to remain competitive in the market. We will have got to see if this great video game will be available on Microsoft's platform or not. Things do not look wonderful for Nokia who has spent billions in its new cell phones.
