If done right, this process prepares you to engage the RIGHT person from a bar or club that you have the most chances of success with.
Here's the process, step by step:
1. Pick a group. Don't hesitate practicing this in less scary situations such as a bus stop or other places where your moves are less obvious to your target.
2. Be a detective and cold read the group to you. Don't worry if the you haven't learned cold reading, just make your best observation.
3. Understand your conclusions: note clues such as proximity, similar body language, clothing, relative states of each person in the set, etc
4. For each set that you practice this on, answer the following questions:
a. How many people are in the set? Why? What is the dynamic? Is there sexual tension?
b. Who is your target?
c. Where would you relocate her? Why? (must be close by and within VIEW of her friends! Hint take an adjacent chair or steal the target's chair)
d. At which position would you open? Why?
e. Where would you relocate for the second time? Why? (hint- use false time constraints)
f. What pretense would you use for the second relocation? Why?
This exercise helps you establish five important dynamics of a situation:
- the number of people in the group,
- the relationship between them,
- identifying the target,
- identifying the relocation options,
- identifying the correct positioning on approach.
This can only be done with practice. we'll say it again practice, practice, practice!
