subject: Have Plenty Of Labor Day Party Supplies On Hand To Throw A Successful Party [print this page]

Labor Day is time to relax and enjoy the fruit of one's labor so why not throw a fun party for all fellow hard workers. Create a fun time for all by gathering friends and family and spend some time drinking and eating tasty food in a festive atmosphere.

Labor Day Party Invitations: Include in your Labor Day Party invitations a patriotic message, which can include stars and stripes, red, white and blue lettering, and so on. Print the Labor Day party invitations on card stock and send promptly.

Labor Day Party Supplies & Decorations: Decorate the party area with plenty of patriotic party supplies and decorations. Homemade party decorations can easily be made using cut out stars and other patriotic imager. Start with red, white and blue star cutouts, and then punch holes in the corners of them. Tie the stars together by placing string or ribbon through the holes and tie closed. This make for an easy and festive Labor Day banner. Do the same with other American icons such as Statue of Liberty, Liberty Bell etc.

Add even more patriotic flavor to the Labor Day party by adding red, white, and blue flowers (faux). Place the flowers on the party food table along with American flag napkins, plates, and cups. A flag o other red, white and blue theme can be used for the tablecloth. Place red, white, and blue candies in clear jars with the names of the candies on decorative labels taped on the jars. Print out the labels using card stock and tape on.

Labor Day Party Games: Party games at a Labor Day party will surely make the party come alive, and guests will be eager to participate. Have lots of extra balloons at the party, so that guests can participate in Balloon Pop. Balloon Pop can be played by placing a number of balloons on the party area floor with party guests trying to pop as many balloons as possible. Other guests watch one player each and count the number of balloons the players popped. If popping the balloons alone was not incentive enough, place a small sheet of paper in the balloon with a party favor prize. Other Labor Day party games can include various relay race games, musical chairs, dodgeball, and other fun outdoor games.

Offer all party guests fun party favors such as bags of candy and homemade baked cookies in plastic bags with decorative ribbons. Labor Day is a day for rest but also can be a day of fun with a Labor Day Party for friends and family.
