subject: Toshiba At200 Tablet Review [print this page]

The new Toshiba AT200 is defiantly one of the top tablets as it considered one of the top players in this business alongside other Android tablets such as the Asus Transformer Prime and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Its build and its design alongside its screen and easy usability defiantly make it a top tablet. And in this article we are going to discuss its features that make it stand out so we can know more about this new Toshiba AT200.

And despite not being the best tablet, but it has so many features that include its 5 Mega Pixel and its dimensions alongside its side buttons, which makes it deserves the credit given to it. And now onto the amazing features.

Starting with its screen, it has an amazing 10.1 inch screen; it has a 1,280 X 800 for its pixel resolution, and although it is an amazing screen, but as other tablets, it got outshined by the new screen display of the new iPad. But still, it was much appreciated to have such a resolution on a 10.1 inch screen. This screen has the ability to play 1080p HD content. And thanks to its thin bezel, you will never get interrupted. This 10.1 inch screen also has a multi touch feature; this gives you the ability to zoom out and in to maps, apps or images with only a single touch.

Then onto another part of the Toshiba AT200, the battery, it is good, but not great, as it doesnt have a great battery life. For example it can withstand 297 hours of 1080p video on a loop. And of course with lighter usage it can washstand up to 8 hours, which is stated in its specifications by Toshiba.

The Build, which is defiantly an advantage of the AT 200 tablet, it has physical buttons on the devices front, and a thick black bezel, the customary one. And for its 1.3 front camera you will get a circular lens to fit the camera opening. As for the back side of the Toshiba AT200, it is a sheet of brushed aluminum which covers the whole back side of the device; although not being the easiest kind of surface to get a grip of, but it makes it look good.

And of course, as predicted, due to the thin build of the tablet, there is no space on the side of the tablet for big easy to use buttons, thats why the power button on the side is very thin which can be hard to reach and use sometimes. So over all, its build is great, very slim and light which makes it very easy to put in a bag instead of having to carry it with your hands all the time.

Lastly, the verdict on the new Toshiba AT200 Tablet, to say the least, it is much better than the older version of the AT series, the Toshiba AT100. It also makes the ideal example of an easy to hold Android tablet which is well built and easy to use. Its slimness which is equals 7.7 inch and its very light weight, weighing only an amazing 520 gm makes it the most convenient tablet to be carried around in a bag or a briefcase. It is durable, and functional.
