Also, this green energy superpower has the capacity in energy to produce up to one hundred and three and four tenths gigawatts!
Although, China's main green energy sources have been known to be wind energy, this giant has much more to its green energy sector. For example, the hydropower that is put to work in China can now produce up to two hundred and ten gigawatts. Also, this superpower produces around thirty percent of the world's supply of solar photovoltaic panels.
Germany
Germany has had a one hundred percent growth in its green energy sector, one of the largest internationally. Its newly placed and determined renewable energy targets are high reaching. For example, the goal for percentage of the country transferred to green and clean electricity by the year of 2020 is thirty five percent. With this booming country's current rate of growth, this ambitious growth is perfectly possible!
Germany has been somewhat of a major power in photovoltaic installation. It is rapidly growing; it surpassed the estimate of solar capacity in MWp placed in 2006 by the European Commission regarding the capacity that would have been installed by 2010. The prior estimate had been 4,500 MWp and Germany had expanded at a total of 5,400 MWp.
Its fierce competitors include China, Spain, the United States, and Denmark.
Spain
Being the fourth largest power in the green and clean energy industries of the world, Spain is the third largest wind powered country across the globe. It had an installation capacity of roughly 20,661 megawatts at the last data collection in April of 2011. Also, it was the first country in the world to place a law that stated that every new building are required to install photovoltaic systems and second to say the same about hot water systems.
