subject: General Situation And Features Of Molybdenum Ore [print this page]

Judging from the regional distribution of molybdenum resources in China, the Central-South region occupies 35.7% of the country"s total molybdenum reserves, and stands first. Then comes the Northeast region, which occupies 19.5%, the Northwest region--14.9%, the East China region--13.9%, and the North China region--12%, while the Southwest region occupies only 4%. Judging by the distribution by provinces (regions), Henan has the largest reserves, making up 29.9% of the country"s total, and is followed in successive order by Shaanxi--13.6%, and Jilin--13%. Besides, the following provinces (regions) possess also more or less abundant reserves: Shandong, which occupies 6.7%, Hebei--6.6%, Jiangxi--4%, Liaoning--3.7% and Inner Mongolia--3.6%. The accumulative reserves of the above-mentioned eight provinces (regions) constitute 81.1% of the country"s total molybdenum retained reserves, of which the first three provinces: Henan, Shaanxi and Jilin occupy 56.5%. The tectonic positions and metallogenetic epoch of China"s molybdenum deposits are characterized as follows: The molybdenum, copper-molybdenum and molybdenum-tungsten deposits in the east of China are related to the circum-Pacific molybdenum metallogenic belt, while the copper-molybdenum deposits within the Sanjiang area in the west of China belong to the copper-molybdenum metallogenic belt of the Sanjiang fold system (Tethyan metallogenic belt). Based on the relation of the molybdenum deposits with the geotectonic elements and their ore-forming characteristics, the eastern circum-Pacific molybdenum metallogenic belt can be further divided into four metallogenic provinces: the Sino-Korean paraplatform molybdenum metallogenic province; the copper-molybdenum metallogenic province of the Northeastern Hercynian fold system; the Yangtze paraplatform copper-molybdenum metallogenic province; the tungsten-copper-molybdenum metallogenic province of the South China fold system. Among them the Sino-Korean paraplatform molybdenum metallogenic province is the most promising. It is proved that the Yanliao molybdenum belt on its northern margin and the East Qinling molybdenum belt on its southern margin are the two most important ones, with reserves making up more than 60% of China"s total explored industrial molybdenum reserves. Especially the East Qinling belt possesses up to 3.6 million tons of reserves, having 46 molybdenum (tungsten) deposits (occurrences), including four super-large ones: the Jinduicheng molybdenum deposit, Shangfanggou molybdenum (iron) deposit, Nannihu molybdenum (tungsten) deposit, and Sandaozhuang molybdenum (tungsten) deposit; four large ones: the Dashigou molybdenum (rhenium) deposit, Sjijiawan molybdenum deposit and Yechangpin molybdenum-tungsten deposit and Leimengou molybdenum deposit; and several medium-sized ones: the Nantai molybdenum-tungsten deposit, Yinjiagou molybdenum deposit, Qiushuwan copper-molybdenum deposit and others. The E-W-trending structures are of the primary controlling significance in this belt; being of the secondary controlling significance, the coalescing and compounding positions of different tectonic systems control the distribution of rock groups and ore zones, with all the large ore fields or mineral districts situated at the positions of the mitre supraposition of Neocathaysian, or arc-shaped structures with latitudinal structures. For example, the Jinduicheng, Huanglongpu and other mineral districts all occur in the compounding positions of latitudinal structures with the eastern flank of the front arc of the Qi-Lu-He epsilon-shaped structure. The Nannihu ore field of Luanchuan County occurs in the supraposition locality of a latitudinal structure with the Funiu-Dabie arc-shaped structure; small rock bodies or ore-bodies are controlled by positions of structural disturbances of lower orders or structural intersecting and compounding, which are of the tertiary controlling significance. As the professional manufacturer of complete sets of mining machinery, such as vibratory feeder, combination crusher, Henan Hongxing is always doing the best in products and service. The Sanjiang copper-molybdenum metallogenic belt of the Indo-Sinian folding system in the west of China. The tectono-magmatic activity was very strong along the deep fracture zone within this belt, with intermediate and acid magmatism of the early stage of Yanshanian-Himalayan movement being frequent. the Yulong copper (molybdenum) deposit of porphyry type and Machangqing molybdenum (copper) deposit of porphyry-skarn type were formed during the Himalayan movement.hydraulic cone crusher:http://www.hx-china.com/5.html cement rotary kiln:http://www.hxjqchina.com/product-list_38.html
