The new hotel Memories Flamenco began operating in Key Coco in the Jardines del Rey tourist destination, to north of the central Cuban province of Ciego de Avila. This islet is connected to the island of Cuba by an artificial road of 27 km long.

The 5-star hotel will be operated by Gaviota SA under the administration contract of the Canadian tour operator Sunwing Travel Group. Sunwing Travel Group operates with good results several hotels in Cuba. Most notable are the Caribbean Memories Bech Resort, also in the destination Jardines del Rey and the Paradise Santa Maria and Paradise Memories Santa Maria, both located on the northern coast of Villa Clara.

The newly opened facility has 624 rooms, bringing more than five thousand 300 housing capacities in Jardines del Rey, located in north-central Cuba. It has three buildings and bungalows, lobby bar, shops, three specialized restaurants swimming pools for children and adults, ballrooms and meeting rooms, recreation clubs for kids and an administrative area, among other facilities.

Yanara Garcia Flores, Commercial of the hotel, said that the marketing strategy will be managed by Blue Diamond Hotels Resorts, for a better positioning in the international market. The architectural style of the new tourist facility respects the terms of tradition, modernity and urbanism. Its designed to fit perfectly into the wilderness of the keys.

The name of the new hotel, Flamenco Memories is referred to the vast population of pink flamingos that nest in the vicinity of the tourist, one of the biggest attractions of Jardines del Rey. The establishment favors the approach to this area of North Cuba, of impressive natural attributes for the diversity of species and the conservation of the ecosystems.

Memories Flamenco Hotel is destined to become one of the best resorts for Cuba holidays. The Jardines del Rey archipelago is the largest of the four that surround the island of Cuba. It comprises the keys Coco and Guillermo. Jardines del Rey has 15 hotels and villas, all located in beachfront and operated by renowned international chains such as Sol Melia, Iberostar, and Blau, among others.

A wall of coral of 400 kilometers long border it and its the second largest coral reef in the world, only after the Great Barrier Reef of Australia.
