In the kitchen, there are many uses of plastic that are found as well. Have you considered the fact that your trashcan is likely made out of plastic and is something that you use on a daily basis? The chopping boards that you use are likely made out of plastic as well, and the inside of many of the appliances that we use have plastics, including the dishwasher and refrigerator. Your dishwashing detergent and other chemicals that are used within the kitchen are likely stored in plastic as well.
In the living area of our home, we have many more items that also make use of plastic as well. These are anything from our telephones, including our cellular telephones, all the way to our televisions and DVD players. The watch on your wrist may also use plastic, as do many of the materials that are used in order to cover the wall. What about the carpet in the room? Did you realize that that also has plastic in it as well? So as you see, the home is full of plastic, and in many cases, it is quite beneficial.
Of course, there are many other uses for plastic outside of the home that we may find to our benefit as well. This may also be included in the medical field. For many of these specific items, some type of plastic medical injection molding has to be used. It allows those items to be formed in a specific way so that they can benefit you medically as well. Inside many of the machines that are used within the hospital and doctor's office are plastic parts as well. So even though plastic may get a bad rap from time to time, it really is beneficial to us in many different ways. Of course, it is necessary to use plastic responsibly, but when we do, we find that we are able to benefit from it nicely.
