subject: No Matter What The Theme For A Birthday Party Invitations Are Easy To Create [print this page]

Invite party guests to the birthday party or other type of celebration with homemade party invitations. The right party invitations will get party guests excited about the potential fun they will have - or miss if they do not attend.

The invitation needs to be appropriate depending on the kind of party. Older adults may wish to have their party invitations more modern in style with darker colors. Children's birthday parties are typically of bold and bright colors.

Use free templates that allow for easy to create wording and design concepts. Once a basic design is found, implement the design into a photo editing and word program and add other details to the invitations.

Before you start printing the invitations, run one copy on a piece of paper the size of your invitation cards. This will allow correcting any mistakes or re-aligning the paper or change some of the lettering and picture sizes before a series of invitation paper is wasted.

One the invitations are completely printed, the invitations are not done possibly. There add decorate bows (glue or tape on), glitter, gems, and other arts & crafts materials to give the party invites a texture look and feel.

Mail invitations three weeks before the party. Include the date, location (with directions), drop-off and pick-up times, and R.S.V.P. information. Mention food served, and entertainment. Call parents or guardians if the invitations have not been responded to a week before the party. If there is a particular theme of the party, include it in the invitations information. This means if the party is of a luau then suggest to the invitees to wear luau clothing and accessories. Mailing the invitations several weeks before the party allows party guests time to find the perfect clothing and accessories for the party.

Invitations don't always have to be square, they can also be in the form of animals or any other shape desired. Perhaps the birthday girl or boy would like to choose what shape the invitation will be in. Have the celebrant make homemade party invitations of an animal or an object that represents the theme of the party and write the necessary party information inside with marker or crayon.

As a bonus, once the party invitations are completed, the celebrant can begin working on the thank you notes as well filling in the personalized thank you's later.
