This is welcome news, being the fact that the most powerful MINI Countryman ever in production has finally arrived! WooHoo!

As was always the case with its predecessor, we all know and can appreciate that the BMW manufactured MINI is one of those very few makes of car you simply just have to own. Each and every single individual cannot fail to be impressed by the overall product of perfection that is the BMW manufactured MINI.

You may be one of those incredibly fortunate and somewhat smug individuals who have already managed to make such a purchase. The MINI is itself that exceptional piece of modern motoring technology and engineering the majority of us covet and desire, secretly or otherwise. The unveiling of the 2013 John Cooper Works Countryman has now in fact made that even more so to be the case.

The modern BMW manufactured MINI has progressed in leaps and bounds, and is in essence a class apart from all other makes of car in the same category. It towers above its rivals, managing to combine that extraordinary heady mix of desirability, coolness and uniqueness with a driving experience which really is second to none.

2012 is the year in which the very best of German engineering managed to surpass even itself with the introduction of the 2013 John Cooper Works Countryman.

In hindsight it was perhaps always in the making, BMW coming up with a MINI as powerful as the 2013 John Cooper Works Countryman. The next step to enhancing the MINI Countryman was of course, albeit now obviously, to add the John Cooper Works kit. The John Cooper Works kit has added fun to driving on all terrains to the already racy MINI Countryman.

It is for all intent purposes the icing on the cake, and the finished article itself looked every part worthy of having the title of the most powerful MINI ever when modelled in that striking black and red combination at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

The 2013 John Cooper Works Countryman will benefit from the ALL4 system for all wheel driving, and will be powered by the, recently new from development, four cylinder turbo charged engine producing that all important wondrous 211 horsepower. A six speed automatic gearbox will be available as an alternative to the standard six speed manual gearbox. In addition, it should accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 7.1 seconds.

It should be pointed out that the performance figures are as yet provisional until the global introduction of the 2013 John Cooper Works Countryman in the Fall of 2012. In the meantime you can marvel at the sheer brilliance of the ultimate driving machine that is the 2013 John Cooper Works Countryman. The Great British roar just got louder, and you will certainly not be disappointed with the end result!
