Some people will always go with the same company whether its because its easier to go with the same company as there wont be any hard work needed or whether its because people think its better the devil you know but I strongly believe you owe it to yourself to get a few quotes as lets face it; no one wants to part with their money.
At the end of last year my car insurance came through. The year before Id changed to driving a 4x4 and my insurance had doubled in price. Then one year on when it was due for renewal at the end of last year you assume itll go down in price. After all not only do you have one extra years no claims but on top of that the car is one year older and worth less but no. My quote came back asking for another 700 on top of the orginal insurance price which meant I was paying 1700 a year rather than 500 which I was paying before I got the 4x4. I was shocked and actually felt a little sick! I couldnt believe it.
After shopping around I managed to find the same insurance for 570! Can you believe it? Near enough 60% cheaper than before. The problem is once youre with a company they start to think youll never leave and they get greedy!
When I needed grab hire I decided to go online. When I needed waste disposal I decided to do some searching online and found some great prices so I thought Id do the same this time around with grab hire. I remembered using a site which provided me with several waste disposal prices in my area and I knew they do other stuff too so I decided to see what they could do. I saved so much money just doing a bit of hunting around. Although it takes a bit of time Id always rather use a bit of time than money. Why would I want to give my money away for no reason.
