subject: Need A Better Understanding About Cars [print this page] I have never been a fan of car; I like driving them but have had no interest about how they came about or how it works. I recently bought a new Mazda MX-5 in Essex; its a great little convertible which I know nothing about. A friend of mine asked me a few question regarding the car, I just stared at her with blank face.
After feeling really embarrassed, I decided it was time for me to gain some knowledge about the motor industry and about my car. So I went on the internet to find out about my car, as I know thats the best place and also anything about the car industry.
I was amazed with what I found out about the Mazda MX-5; for starters I had no idea that it was a lightweight two-seater roadster that is built by Mazda in Hiroshima, Japan. Also the Mazda MX-5 is currently in its third generation, and is the best-selling two-seat convertible sports car in history but thats not all, by February 2011 over 900,000 MX-5s had been built and sold around the world.
I also came across an article about the new limited edition Mazda MX-5 Venture Edition that went on sale in the UK in February and is priced from 18,995 for a Soft-top based on the 1.8 SE model and rising to 22,285 for a Roadster Coupe based on the 2.0 Sport Tech.
The article mentioned equipment that are standard in the new car, which included light gun metal 17-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, chrome front grille, piano black fashion bars and special Venture Edition badging. It also had written the colours that it is available in, which are Metropolitan Grey Mica, and two exclusive colours Radiant Ebony Mica and Crystal White Pearlescent.
The article had a whole lot more written about the new car but I didnt understand half of it, so I decided to make myself familiar with every about car in general and then look into a particular car.
