subject: Need Extra Space? Tired Of Rental Lots? Try Storage Pods! [print this page]

It's hard when you're garage is overflowing with boxes, the attic is about to bust through the ceiling, and the basement's so full you can't even get down there. You thought about renting a unit in a storage lot nearby, but the inconvenience has stopped you. There is another way, thankfully. One you may not even know about, called storage pods.

It isn't very conducive to living, to try and keep all your clutter with you. If we were all being truthful, I think we'd agree it isn't very practical. But then again, the idea of having stored away somewhere may not be the right option either. After all, driving to your stuff...not real fun! The cool thing with pods is, they're different. Available in lots of sizes, and you can transport them!!

You can rent the units and have them delivered right to you, with just a simple phone call. Keep them on your property for as long as you like, for a fee. Or, have them taken away to be stored for a period, or indefinitely, if you choose. It just depends on the company you're working with. Check with them about the services they offer.

If you look online, you can even find some for sale. You can own your own pod, and use it whenever you want. This would be cool if you had your own business, and needed somewhere to keep products. Or, even if you had some large collection of something. I can think of lots of fun ways to use a pod!

They come in a variety of styles and sizes. You can find one that's suitable for about anything. Again, it all depends on the provider. Some have more options than others, so do some research. You can even check on a site like Angie's List for acurate portrayals of the company. Sometimes you'll get lucky and stumble on a coupon, or special while you're there.

Determine whether you want to buy 'out right', or rent. Some companies offer both services, while others specialize in one, or the other. Once you have found the right company, read some reviews to make sure you are getting a quality product. You can learn a lot from other peoples experiences, and if the thing leaks, you would want to know that before you got it!

Once you have located the company you want to work with, make the call, or contact them through email. It usually only takes a day or so to have your storage pods delivered. But, if you are pressed for time because of a project or move, don't wait until the last minute because depending on the season, they do get busy. If this sounds like a good option for you, I would definitely check it out.
