subject: Tyrannists Control Society By Phony Rights That Destroy Real Rights [print this page]

Those that would force their control over people by denying them their unalienable rights do so to force their view of how society should work. Tyrannies such as communism, Nazism, and now feminism peddle phony rights to seduce supporters. The society that tyrannist goverments setup is unnatural to the human ethos. Its denial of real rights always causes increased misery as well undermining most of the phony rights and benefits it promises.

*Real rights are freedom-preserving rights:

Real rights are your unalienable rights, also called fundamental rights and liberty interests. These are individual rights and pertain to everyone. They ensure that individuals - not government - control their own lives, their children and their property. Most importantly, these rights put restrictions from government's interference into their lives and include judicial protections of them as well.

So, real rights are freedom-preserving rights. They include the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness mentioned in the Declaration of Independence, protections expressed in the Bill of Rights and its further amendments and additional enumerations made in U.S. Supreme Court case law.

Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence, characterized freedom when he said, "rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within the limits drawn around the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual."

By equal rights he meant that our freedoms and protections should accrue to each of us - not preferentially to some. When they don't, then tyranny reigns. Jefferson also stated, "Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms (of government) those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny". And that's what's happening now as government and its controlling feminist factions grow ever larger and espouse phony rights while denying real rights to fathers and other men.

*Phony rights entices supporters to unknowingly give up their freedom:

Politicians and ideologues who seek control, power, and imposition of their agenda proffer phony rights to gain support. But phony rights don't preserve freedom; they undermine it.

Phony rights often take the form of government-promised benefits and entitlements for all or some, and privileges for the select. They're characterized as 'rights' to help supporters think they deserve what they get - no matter at what expense others are denied or must suffer to supply them. Lastly, they endow government - not individuals - to overrule people's lives and choices for whatever it considers the best interest of society or its children. Phony rights tyrannize.

Communism promised people a paradise with all the benefits of food, shelter, medical care and more. The people need only to work collectively for their common benefits. Of course such a system is unnatural to the human ethos. Such systems never last long. Under communist governments compliance must be forced on the people. Such societal control breeds frightening results as shown by North Korea's automaton-like and profoundly deprived population. It's a failed system as shown by the demise of the Soviet Union and its communist satellites. Even Chinese communism is trying to hold on by nurturing the natural capitalist and self-interest bent of people to work for 'themselves and their own'. The misery and death communism has caused is beyond belief and still largely hidden in their histories.

Nazism was a hate-based socialist system engineered by Hitler's propaganda and control. It brainwashed German youth into believing in a superior future and scared the adult population into compliance. Of course it sought to eliminate Jews and anyone else it deemed as bad or inferior. It would have self-destructed on its own eventually if not conquered in WWII. Enormous misery and death is its legacy.

The slow but methodical rise in socialism in first world countries has undermined individual rights and stolen the future from much of the youth. Socialism's promise of phony rights (i.e. benefits) has allowed government's politicians, employees, and many of its citizens to rob other citizens of their wealth and the youth of a future. Socialism eventually creates nations of slaves dependent on government handouts yet prevented from producing efficiently for themselves. It's a milder form of collectivism and contrary to the human ethos. It ultimately shrinks a nation's productivity.

Feminism has come to represent a hateful sexist socialism promising phony rights for women at the direct expense of fundamental rights of men. Although it originally espoused equal opportunity for women, it has pushed for government laws to force equal outcomes in jobs. But, more maliciously, it has undermined the rights and judicial protection of fathers and men to favour, or virtually guarantee, women-favored court outcomes in the domestic arenas of family courts and domestic violence issues.

The breakdown of families, marriage, and the denial of the fundamental rights of fathers and other men that state-imposed feminism has caused has created a generation of misery for children and adults and societal slavery for fathers now and into the future. It's a growing tyranny.

*Maintaining Real Rights creates the benefits humans need since it's consistent with the human ethos:

The fact is that a government that forces phony rights and entitlements onto its people only undermines their freedom. By doing so, it undermines the ability to acquire the very 'benefits' that it promises its people. It's the nature of totalitarianism.

It's only when the freedom-preserving rights are upheld that a people can flourish. Such rights are inconsistent with the phony rights peddled by governments and their tyrannist supporters. Only when freedom is preserved for all does it allow the people - not government - to create the society, environment, incentives, and sacrifices that are needed to most efficiently produce the 'benefits' that tyrannist governments allegedly guarantee but pathetically deliver or don't deliver at all.
