subject: Moving On With Pods [print this page] Everyone seems to have a different reaction to change. Many out there will embrace the idea of something new and seeking a new experience in their life, but many others will angrily want to turn away from the idea of sudden changes, and having to deal with all the speed bumps that go along with it. One major change one will no doubt have to make in their life and sometime or another is that of moving. Moving can be particularly difficult, because one is often having to part with a space they know very well, or they have to begin to toss out the things they don't want to take with them, which means throwing out loose memories. It can be a hard thing to see even the slightest memories wash away. Granted, there are other problems associated with a move that bring about stress in change, such as the actual process. For instance, when you pack up the rooms of one's home, it tends to have a repeated routine. Let's start with the kitchen. Here is the room of everything fragile, which means having to account for these items being jostled around in a moving truck. One will have to bubble wrap each individual plate and bowl, and all the cooking pots and pans they probably do not even use that often. However, it is a must. When this is done, one has to drag these heavy, fragile boxes to and fro to the truck. In the bedroom, one tends to have the biggest challenge, what with having to take out the box spring and mattress of their bed, the drawers and bodies of their dressers or standing closets, and all of their clothes, which need to be meticulously marked so that one has an idea of where they are. Then there is the living room, or the most populated area: one has couches, chairs, bookshelves, televisions, rugs, coffee tables, end tables, and lamps at every reach. Of course, once all of this is packed in, it's a simple pass through the bathroom, one quick box, and it's all done, right? No, not at all unfortunately, because now you have to take what you packed up and begin the driving voyage to your new home. For this, we say Pods to the rescue.
You see, you had just spent considerable effort packing up a truck.
Now that it's packed, you may very well have to drive a thousand miles to get to your destination, where you will unpack.
Sound like fun?
Absolutely not. That is where Pods really comes in though.
A pod is simply the bed of moving truck stationary on the ground.
You pack up your pod, you lock the pod door, and you leave it to someone else to pick it up and deliver it where you like.
This means there will be no strenuous drives, no constantly checking blind spots out the truck window, and no worrying about having to fill up every 50 miles.
Pods are as easy as that and should be the first price quote one receives if they are going to be moving a great distance or a short distance.
