subject: The Perfect Partner, The Perfect Fireplace [print this page] I have been thinking about buying a fireplace but as it is a large investment I would like to know more about the fireplaces and suppliers. I have been looking through the suppliers, and what seems to be offering quite suitable solution is a Finnish supplier called Uunisept. I know it is a far stretch, but anyone here have any experience with them? I like what they are saying on their web page, about safety of their fireplaces and the durability of the stone they use and stuff. The models are nice as well; there was one that would fit really well to our living room. I am not saying other places would not have suitable fireplaces as well, but I like the idea of getting the fireplace from Uunisept easily installed and so.
I was reading about some negative experiences people had had with them, but there were even more people saying that everything had been working fine for them. So yeah, I would be really interested in any information, good or bad, about them. We are going to build the house next year; I thought this would be a good time to start to look into this. Especially in Finland where the winters are cold it would be lovely to have a nice fire in the fireplace to warm and bring warm light to the house. I wonder if Uunisept has fireplaces that would go to the middle of the house with opening (or what do you call them) to two or three rooms? I did not see fireplaces like that in the catalogue. If Uunisept does not have them I might need to look for other suppliers, but I'd rather not start looking for a solution right from the start again!
Well in any case, I would like to start to make decisions soon. I hope you can help me, any information about Uunisept will be appreciated.
