subject: Have A Great Night Slumber Party Starting With Great Supplies And Invitations [print this page]

On a general basis tween girls enjoy slumber parties, but younger kids like them as well. The slumber party invitations should be simple, but they can also carry a theme. Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, for example, would make an awesome secondary theme for a slumber party. Any tween girl would love that theme. The invitations should definitely indicate it if there is going to be a theme for the slumber party.

Guests count on invitations as their key informational resource for a party. They need to include certain details, such as the date and time that the part is taking place. The invite also should include the party address, and whether it will feature a meal. Pajamas required should be indicated in there somewhere, usually at the bottom of the invite. The party host can make their own job easier by including a RSVP note complete with contact information.

Once the RSVPs are all answered, whether by email, snail mail, or a phone call, the host will then know what amounts of supplies, party favors, and food will be needed. They will need to keep this number in mind when searching for slumber party supplies, whether over the internet or in the store. Be sure to have enough interesting party favors for everyone. These might be all included in a basket that is given at the beginning of the party. This way, the girls can all open up their baskets and play with whatever is inside. There may be lip balm, lipstick, or other cosmetic items. If they all have different cosmetic items, they might want to make each other up. This is a great activity for girls at a slumber party, and there are no prizes involved. They just do their best, to their favorite rock star's music in the background, and pretend they're getting ready for a night out on the town.

Other great games to play can be found online. There are printable games that can be printed for each and every guest, and they're free. You can find various types of word games, puzzles, mazes, and more.

Healthy, low fat snacks should form the core of the party menu. And keeping the sugar down to a minimum will also be helpful, as sugar tends to keep kids up and running all night long. In fact, a cup of soothing chamomile tea might be the answer for everyone when it comes to quick, restful sleep at a tween's slumber party.
