Constipation means different things to different people. You may have constipation if you have three or fewer bowel movements in a week or if stool is hard, dry, painful, or difficult to pass.
Causes and Symptoms of Constipation.
No bowel movements at least once a day
Loss of appetite.
Constipation occurs when stool passes through the large intestine too slowly.
Pain in the abdomen
feeling a lot of stress.
eating a low-fiber diet.
taking calcium or iron supplements.
problems with the muscles and nerves in the intestine, rectum, or anus.
Irregular sleeping habits or emotional disturbances,
Ignoring the urge to have a bowel movement.
Remedies for Constipation
Don't forget to take in a glass of hot milk with a teaspoon of clarified butter at bedtime. Or Drink a glass of boiled water with one teaspoon of flax seed
A common Ayurvedic medicine for constipation is Triphala Churna. It is a powder made by grinding three kinds of herbs. A teaspoon of this powder taken with warm water or milk at the time going to bed is beneficial.
Eat only when hungry and maintain at least 4 hours between meals.
Do not mix too many kinds of foods in one meal.
limit eating of low-fiber diet like pizza, ice cream, cheese, meat, snacks like chips, and processed foods.
Always eat freshly cooked food, and chew food thoroughly.

Never take a sleep immediately after taking meals instead of it take a small walk.
