subject: Acne Is Caused By Toxins! [print this page] When the average American thinks of getting rid of acne, they think of washing their face more frequently, changing soaps, or perhaps using zit cream like Clearasil. Some are born with horrendous acne, and would have had it no matter what they did. But for most people with decent complexions who suddenly have outbreaks of acne, there is some causality. Rather than simply address the symptom with zit cream, shouldn't you ponder the root cause?
The body has many ways to excrete toxins, one is the skin. The body will normally excrete most toxins through the stool or urine. Assuming you drink enough water. If you aren't drinking enough water, then your body will begin excreting toxins through the skin, which can clog pores and lead to acne.
Your pores stuffed full of toxins to the point where irritated skin bumps arise. Zits are even grosser when you view them this way. We unwittingly ingest all sorts of noxious substances which should be illegal, but are not. Our foods are laden with chemicals, and they contaminate the air we breathe when released by factories and automobiles. Much water we drink, though considered clean in a conventional sense, actually contains many toxic chemicals too.
In hot climates, acne caused by dehydration is common. You sweat more in a hot climate, and if you don't increase your water intake, your body can't excrete toxins by peeing. It then begins utilizing the skin, resulting in acne.
The example above assumed that you are taking in the same old amount of toxins. If you have increased your toxin intake, then you could develop acne. Eating more fast foods or processed foods, a different water source which is more polluted, or breathing in air which is more polluted, can increase your toxin intake, and thus produce acne. One could reduce acne by drinking more water, but the real solution is to reduce toxin intake.
Acne can also result if you suddenly decrease toxin intake. We take in a pile of toxins without questioning or realizing that this is happening, or without truly appreciating the detrimental effects on our body. Our human body adapted to a diet of meat, fruit, veggies and nuts over a time period of millions of years. Chemicals and toxins which cause acne are less than 200 years old. They are created primarily to allow food companies to generate massive profit, and of course as byproducts of industrial inventions. Our body never learned how to digest or process these chemicals. When the body can't excrete them all, it stores them in cells, especially fat cells which don't serve a functional purpose like brain or heart or liver cells. When toxins stop being ingested, the body tries to get rid of the ones that have accumulated in the body. It excretes the huge amount of toxins via every available avenue, feces, urine, breath, and of course skin. Acne can once again result.
Acne is often caused by toxins. The long term cure is to reduce or eliminate toxins.
