Tools such as planners and PDA's are just secondary in importance when it comes to time management and avoiding procrastination. It is more important to act on the tasks at hand and have the discipline to do so. However, if the apparent difficulty of tasks is the main reason for procrastination, it is advisable to have a partner or supervisor that will impose discipline. For instance, when working out to lose weight, regularly going to the gym and doing exercise routines are easier under the supervision of a trainer and with the help of an exercise partner.
Time management is the key to battling procrastination. Never allow the urge to procrastinate get the upper hand. The bottom line is self-discipline. Whatever the type of time management technique, it will only work if it is acted upon.
